Steve
graduated from Dodge
City Community College in 1979 with an agriculture based Associate of
Arts degree. Steve grew up around trucks and has worked in the shop as
a driver, and as a dispatcher. Steve is the President of the trucking
company. and also President of Hilker Oil Company, Inc., Hilker Farm
Gas, Inc., Founder and director of Jayhawk Leasing, LLC, Board member
of Cimarron Capital Corporation. Steve has also been involved in the
cattle feeding business since 1990.
Judy got
her start in the trucking business almost 30 years ago when she
married David Hilker and worked with him as a co-driver and
bookkeeper. Five years later both their family and business were
growing, so they set up an office in their home. They ran the business
out of their home for the next 20 years. With their children grown and
gone on to college, they sold the business to Steve. Judy is the
office manager for the trucking company.
Brant has been involved in the cattle trucking
business since 1983. He started as a driver for Isaac Truck Line of
Dodge City, Kansas from 1983 to 1990. Brant was promoted to dispatcher
at Isaac in 1990. Brant was again promoted, this time to manager in
1992. He continued as manager until 1996. Steve Hilker approached
Brant with an employment offer in 1996. Brant has been with the
company as a lease operator and dispatcher since 1996. Brant is also
the manager of the company also.
